Until recently, I had been taking Zoloft for years with satisfactory results. Depression and bipolar symptoms returned strongly and Abilify was added to my treatment upon my request. I have experienced significant spotting since starting this drug, but the beneficial effects outweigh this by far.

I take Abilify at night (5mg) and Zoloft (200mg) and welbutrin (100mg) in am for Depression. Was taking Trazadone with the Abilify for sleep but now don't need Trazadone and find that Abilify makes me drowsy enough. For the depression it worked extremely well with the other meds.

Okay so I've been taking Latuda 80mg at night( which I use it for my bipolar ) with Lithium and every so often I get this nauseous feeling but, that's usually when I take it on an empty stomach. Sometimes even when I have food in my stomach I get this weird anxious nauseous feeling...( and to make it even worse I'm extremely afraid of throwing up, so this is torture for me ) Aside from that I've been on it for about 2 months and it has done wonders, i just feel happier ( not in a manic way ) and people around me see a difference.

Seems to work well for my paranoia. Have been on other antipsychotics such as zyprexa, loxapine, seroquel etc. weight gain has been an issue for all of them including latuda. Doc switched me to latuda for delusions and Zoloft for OCD 5 months ago. I have since gained 12 pounds which is more than 10percent of my body weight. Quit Zoloft a week ago to see if that was causing my weight gain. Hoping it isn't the latuda that is causing me to gain weight. Time will tell. Latuda also makes me lethargic and emotionally flat. Feel lazy and lacking in energy. Sigh. They've been making antipsychotics for more than 50 years and still they have a list of side effects a mile long. I can't believe it.
