WARNING!!! This drug has horrible side effects with long term usage. Took for 8 yrs half pills of 10mg to sleep. I ended up hospitalized with hallucinations and anxiety attacks when trying to come off the pills. rebound insomnia lasted a few months. Hell to get off. TAKE a natural melatonin supplement. This drug is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE and has bad side effects!!!!

Very dangerous drug. It was very effective at first. I took it for ~5-6 months. I developed tolerance withdrawal (ear ringing terrible sinus headaches) after ~5 months. Had severe withdrawal symptoms upon discontinuing. Should not be prescribed for extended use.

Due to the fact that I have no stomach, I have absorption issues will all drugs. Ambien made me hallucinate horribly, seeing little people living under my bed. Scary. Lunesta 3 mgs usually helps me to fall asleep and I get 4-5 hours of decent sleep with this. I find the aftertaste not all that great, but can u really put a price on a good nights sleep?
