initially put on high dose (10)mg to bring down HBP resulted in coming down too low and had LBP after visit to the Emergency Room. Best to have a cardiologist do the fine tuning on BP meds and not leave to a GP. Felt it was working well in conjunction with Benezepril med and dissipating some of my mild stroke symptoms. Doing hese meds in conjunction with largely fruits and veges diet, weight loss ...

I have had gum surgery (gingivectomy surgery) and will have the third surgery due to this calcium channel blocker. It worked great for the blood pressure but not for the gums. When I mentioned this to the pharmacist he knew exactly what I was talking about.I will go on an ace inhibitor for blood pressure and then have my lat gum surgery.

How can I be satisfied? I was on 10M for 1 year. Then my doctor upped it to 10m two times a day. After two weeks did blood work and my Creatinine level was raised to 3.7. That was 5 weeks ago and I still am not back to normal numbers. But I am getting there, this week my blood work showed l.85, normal is .44-1.03.

When I'm off med, my blood pressure has a tendancy to read 200+/100+. While it is still considered to be on the high side when I take it, my pressure 95% of the time reads 140+/90+
