This was to just take the edge off (although I didn't feel particularly anxious). Pain reliever was to be administered just before the biopsy, except that the Ativan had knocked me out. I had no adverse reaction from this, and waked about two hours after the procedure had been completed. I dressed and m ... I was going through withdrawal from another drug and having anxiety. A doctor at a clinic told me to take this Ativan twice a day until I see my regular doctor. I have been tossing and turning every night and getting very little sleep. So when I get too tired I take one of these Ativan before bed and they work very well. Helps me sleep when my anxiety gets out of hand, also calms me pretty quickly...how long does this stay in your system if you do not use it daily????? been taking for two years but not consistenly....prn | Add Clonazepam review I was anxious, depressed and having suicidal ideations for a year. I started taking klonopin (.5) every night and it has dramatically taken the edge off. I feel less bothered by things that used to upset me, i'm happier and I feel more comfortable socializing again. Taking .25mg and it is making me fall asleep after lunch....sound sleep....may be too high a dosage feeling rest sleeping,i was having tensed and fear an anxiety still i am taking it and am feeling better. I take 1 mg 3X a day. It works quite well although I am starting to build up a tolerance to it. My panic disorder is so bad I don't know what I would do without it. This medicine has helped my GAD with panic attacks and agoraphobia. I am able to leave the house, drive to work, and basically function as an adult. I have zero adverse side effects, other than slight drowsiness in the evening (which I welcome because my anxiety gives me terrible insomnia.)
