| Add Bactrim review E.choli skin rash. I've been on Bactrim for 12 out of 14 days. Rash was starting to get better but now is getting worse. Only side effects have been gas and some constipation. I was started on this antibiotic to treat Impetigo. I'm currently half way through the treatment, and the only side effect I'm experiencing is appetite loss which isn't much to complain about. So far it seems to be helping clear up the affected area and decrease swelling. On the upside, it has also cleared up most of my acne on my face and including my back. Overall I'm satisfied with my doctors c ... I have used Bactrim in the past with no side effects, taking it at bedtime, for adult acne. This time however, I took it for 3 nights and had insomnia until about 3 am. Insomnia is a rare side effect for this rx. I might be able to tolerate it if I took it in the morning instead, but haven't tried yet. I have been on a 10 day course of Bactrim DS for an infected knee cyst. I experienced mild nausea and headache if I took the meds on an empty stomach but otherwise temperature regulation (chills/sweating) was the only side effect I experienced.I did take Align probiotics once a day to combat those "other" side effects. I took this medication for a large abscess on my arm. I took this medication with a B vitamin complex, which I read can drastically reduce the side effects (a B9 vitamin supplement is what you need, folic acid). . I have been told when taking antibiotics, it's good to help replenish the natural bacteria in the gut with a probiotic, so I'm going to be taking a probiotic along with B9 at lunchtim ... | Add Cephalexin review I developed headaches and severe stomach cramps and pain i was given this med because allergic to penacillan in emerg ward. told dr i thought a stone in very swollen front left saliva duct she said NO it was a tooth abcess problem i took meds 3 days and no better as ears eyes all my teeth aching both good filled and one cap had come off and felt horrible so i got a needle and tweezer sterilized and made a little hole in gland where it bulged up and ... I began this medication on Tuesday night, after bladder surgery. Wednesday the headachey feeling began, and by nighttime I had severe migraine with piercing pain in my eyes. By morning it subsided. I still had residual headache, but took it a few more times, and now the migraine is back. I am done with this one. Will call doc in AM to prescribe something else. This antibiotic was remarkable for the infection in my gums. I was severe pain, was unable to get tooth pulled because I couldn't get numb from infection. Dentist's give me severe anxiety so dentist thought it was best to go under general anesthesia and get tooth pulled that way because they may have to cut my jaw bone to pull roots out. Scary! So I'd rather be asleep. I had to wait 5 days until s ... I took ony 2 pills, 500 mg each for an eye infection, sty. I took 2 pills about 7 hrs apart. I had very dry mouth at night and I had nausea and an extremely bad pounding headache that I have never experienced before. I stopped taking this med. It was horrible.
