| Add Benicar review BP had been running 145/95. First day on Benicar it jumped to 165/105. Second day it was 178/100. Had chest fluttering, shaking and a very bad anxious feeling. Called Dr. who said, " You haven't been on it long enough. Keep taking it and if you have chest pain, go to the hospital. NOT. I stopped the pill immediately and returned to my original meds which took the BP back down. Can't s ... I was getting worse each week. I would have high spikes of BP twice a week. I lost strength. Instead of walking 2 miles a day, I could only go a few houses down the street. I had severe cramping in my legs, arms, and hands. After getting off the Benicar for 24-48 hours, I felt like a new person. Now I am walking 2-3 miles a day and the cramps are gone. Worst experience of my life. First, like 5 mg will work anything more and your bp will be too low. Second. The pain. First the hip pain, then I think I had an allergic reaction and the muscle pain in my left arm was so severe and painful...it wore me down. I couldn't move my arm and this is 4 days after last dose, even further, my thumb is numb today (4 days later). Went to physical therapist t ... it raise my blood presser from 125/74 to 150/90 also cause pain near my liver so I no longer use it | Add Losartan review dose increased from 25mg to 50mg My neighbor was having problems with another BP med and the DR changed her to Losartin. Within 10 days she developed giant hives, nausea and her BP was so low she almost died. She was in the hospital for 4 days in intensive care. Went home and then was readmitted with sepsis. She has a pacemaker and artificial valve - prayers that this is all reversible. Dr.started me out on 25mg. It did nothing and my BP was 140/95, raised dosage to 50mg. Made me very tired so I took at night. Still high readins of 140/92, or 90. Dr. raised to 100 mg. The first time I took 100 mg, I hde a severe headache...flet like sinus headache. Went from bad to worse, felt like I as geing a sinus infection...headache horrible. Stoped taking nd went back to the dr. Too ... this medication did not work as well as previously used medications at first but after a month it was a little more effective, I experienced head aches, strange taste and elevated kidney functioning. I have experienced severe leg and feet cramps, and headaches with this medicine. | |||
