Have used this med for a very long time.But I started having bad headaches and knee pain.The doctor said that this med would not cause me to have these problems.I had headaches from morning to night every day for a good year.I stoped taking it and after a week my headaches are gone and my knee oain is gone.I need to find something else that may work.

I have advanced chondromalacia in my knees and severe degeneration L5-S1. I think for mild degenerative pain, Celebrex probably would be helpful, but for my moderate pain it is of no benefit. Doc wants me to continue to take it for its anti inflammatory properties. Costly. I also take Tramadol, as needed for pain management. Personally, i think Celebrex is an overrated medication!

After only 4 tabs I began to experience more swelling in the hands burning pain up my left arm, shoulder and across my chest. MY BP which runs in the 120's over high 60's shot up to 160's over 80's to 90's and persisted for several days after discontinuing usage.

My reaction to this medication: Red flushing of skin on face and chest after first dose. I was told to discontinue use.
