This product is used to treat and prevent symptoms (wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by ongoing lung disease (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease-COPD which includes bronchitis and emphysema). This product contains 2 medications: ipratropium and albuterol (also known as salbutamol). Both drugs work by relaxing the muscles around the airways so that they open up and you can breathe more easily. the old combivent was 100% more effective than this new one. Cheaper per use and easier to transport. this Respimat is not as good as what the old one was I am now investigating the use and dosage for generaic combvent

Doesn't work for me! Proair works much, much better. For multiple reasons I went to clinic and walked away with pre-scripts for Advair and this stuff. For me it takes too long to recover from shortness of breath and the expense is horrific. Insurance won't allow more than one bottle at a time.

I like the ease of one tube instead of 2. It takes less time than the ones I had to mix. The only thing is I get severe muscle spasms and the pain is really bad. Feels like my calf is being ripped apart. I am going to speak to my doctor next week about it.

I had at least 4 exacerbations before being prescribed DuoNeb. My breathing problems were due to pneumonia, so I can't really say how these other patients have recovered. You can't believe all that they write, because everyone responds differently yo various types of medications. If a drug works for you, use it. If not try something else.
