This was given to my 7 year old daughter for ADHD, she also has Fragile X. This medication caused her to hallucinate, she went 24 hours without sleep and was extremely emotional. We were told to stop the medicine immediately.

I have been using Concerta for nearly 10 years now. It has really helped me in school (concentrating in class, getting my work done, organization, rule following.) However, the loss of appetite and the drying of the mouth has always been hard for me to deal with. I'm a teenage girl and I take this drug it's very effective. If I don't take medication with food I do vomit and feel very ill but right after vomiting all discomfort is gone. I always feel tired around the afternoon so after its been in my system for 6 hours. Other than that its very helpful and I'm losing weight on it so that's great for me!

This drug turned my life around. I was diagnosed later in life with ADD. When I started taking Strattera, I found that I could concentrate, had greater confidence during confrontation at the office (able to keep focused and thereby debate my points with greater capacity). I took this drug for nearly 7 years, once a day. Then one day, and I think as life's stressors increased, it stopped working. I ...
