This medication contains neomycin and polymyxin, which are antibiotics that work by stopping the growth of bacteria. It will not work for other types of ear infections. | Add Cortisporin review This is the worst medication I have EVER experienced. My ears were starting to feel better from peroxide irrigation. A few hours after, I put my drops in. THE SAME PAIN I HAVE BEEN GETTING ONLY HAPPENS WITH THESE! :( From my opinion they make things sooo much worse! DON'T use these!!!!! I'm having serious side effects--burning, itching--ears are so very sore, kept me up for several nights. Rash from ears to neck. Stopped using the drops after 4 1/2 days & 5 days later still haven't got rid of the problems.
