| Add Desipramine review My psychiatrist gave this to me for my depression. I still felt lethargic and unmotivated while taking it. Although it made me feel “non-depressed,” I didn’t feel happy, either. I still had trouble enjoying many of my usual activities, save for in a few short bursts. Going on too high of a dose made me feel drugged, anxious, grouchy, and... well, depressed. Although I played around with the time of day I took the lower dose, I still felt more like a tired zombie than a happy person, even if I didn’t have any emotional breakdowns. Also, my weight went up sixteen pounds in the three months I took it. Plus, it seemed to mess with my ability to form new memories. Although it helped a little, it certainly wasn’t the medicine that would save me. Keep in mind, though, that fifteen antidepressants have failed me, so I have a very stubborn case of it. Used it for depression with no real help. See from WebMD that it's also good for panic disorder -- guess I should check into its uses for that since I've had "anxiety disorder" for ages and no one has ever mention this drug for that condition. | Add Wellbutrin review I took Wellbutrin with other medications over the period of 7 years with good results. I stopped taking the other antidepressants and continued, but then couldn't afford the brand and started the generic. Awful; dry mouth, anger, sleeplessness, mood swings, and stomach aches; I feared long term effects and so I quit taking Celexa and bupropion over two weeks. It was truly horrible; crawly skin, ag ... I started using this for about four months ago. I have to say that this medicine is quite useful for me as it lessen my temper. I also lost almost 4 kg as the side effect of the medicine. But 1 month ago, I've been gaining irritation and putting back some weight. So I don't know how it will go since I've only been using it for a few months. I hope for the best for everyone who's relying on this me ... Had taken other meds but experienced side effects - hot flashes, dizziness, decreased sexual function. Wellbutrin has worked well for me. Constipation is only side effect. Happy now and has reduced my SAD tremendously. Also has helped me to be able to enjoy social situations - relieved my anxiety. | |||
