Very effective, and my symptoms were severe. Many reviewers note diarrhea, but I've had none at all! BUT, I've experienced irritability and anxiety. I've never had this before. I feel like I could jump out of my skin, I can't sit still, & I have trouble focusing on anything. I feel the "restless leg" thing in my legs and arms too. It's driving me nuts. I'm stopping this med today.

I have rather severe acid reflux. This medication seems to stop the symptoms. However, I have gained weight quickly. I went off it for six months, immediately lost weight, went on it again this week, and I have already gained weight again. Also, I am constantly gassy and bloated. I have to run to the bathroom. It's not worth it. I will continue to use Zantac 150 and see if I can supplement with so ...

I have taken Dexilant 60 mg for over two years. I've never had any of the side effects that other reviewers have experienced. Of course, I had a neck injury with the result of chronic pain so I wouldn't notice any of the complaints of pain in the neck. Also, all the pain meds I take cause constipation, so no back yard trots for me. Overall, this medication has been a life saver for me. My acid ref ...

Dexilant has worked well me. After being diagnosed with acid reflux, inflammation of the esophagus and possible Barrett's esophagus, a precancerous change of the esophagus, I was originally put on Protonix, another proton pump inhibior. After taking the Protonix, for over 2 yrs, I starting having diarrhea, daily, and was switched to Dexilant. I no longer have diarrhea, but occasionally have stomac ...

This med has worked as well as the Prevacid that my insurance company no longer covers. I received a special allowance for coverage by participating in a study. I do not have any of the listed side effects. I am concerned about my long term usage. I have been on a proton pump inhibitor now for 6 years. Nexium almost killed me. I will be checking my bone density soon. Magnesium levels have been fine, but I do take a multivite regularly. Never changed my diet, occasional drink, no break-through. I am on 30 mg daily, take it in the morning with my coffee. My esophagus healed with little to no scarring. Due for another scoping, and researching the magnetic bead ring for permanent, medicine free relief.

I still get heartburn but not as bad but the prevacid was the best!!!! Causing constipation and isn't the best for heartburn. Which I could go back to the REAL heartburn medicine!!
