I got a terrific headache from the spray. I could only use it once because I got such terrible head pain. I would rather deal with the allergy. Sorry, but there has to be something better out there that can relieve one's symptoms and not have such adverse side effects.

I don't get the itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose - just sinus pressure and headaches during allergy season. Because I was having more issues on one side of my head than the other - not draining properly and occasional sinus infections, I decided to see an ENT in case there were polyps or other issues. My ENT gave me a sample of Dymista after my exam & not finding any polyps or other abnormalities. Why in the world would any drug company use a rose scent in an allergy medication? About 5 seconds after using Dymista, I got a very bad headache, and the pressure in my sinuses actually INCREASED. I could smell roses for several hours. Since I'm allergic to roses, I won't be using this product again. I'll go back to my normal treatment of using a decongestant & ibuprofen when I get a sinus headache.

Strange Smells | 06.08.13
Stuffiness definitely decreased within 2 weeks of use, however not completely. After about 4 months of use I started smelling fumes/smoke - not all the time, but several times a day. At first, I really thought it was smoke, but after about a week I figured it out - something was wrong. I continued to smell fumes/smoke for about 3 1/2 weeks. Then, I started to smell bacon and have now smelled bacon on and off all day for about 3 weeks. I finally got into see an ENT yesterday and was advised to STOP Fluticasone immediately and saline spray as well. The ENT indicated that fluticasone has alcohol and cause extreme drying and combined with the saline wash uber extreme drying to the sinuses - he sighted ( sorry it's gross) scabs inside my nose up high near the sinus cavity ( which I can't see or feel), which indicate dryness. I will have a CT scan this week, to determine the true extent of what is going on. I have stopped fluticasone and saline spray.

This seems to have a very strong stimulant effect. I take it in the morning, but I am wide awake and reading books at 1am. This started about a week after I started Flonase to help with an inflamed ear (won't drain). My concern is not sleeping is not healthy.
