| Erythromycin is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It may also be used to prevent certain bacterial infections. Erythromycin is known as a macrolide antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats or prevents only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or misuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness. Metoclopramide is used as a short-term treatment (4 to 12 weeks) for persistent heartburn when the usual medicines do not work well enough. It is used mostly for heartburn that occurs after a meal or during the daytime. Treating persistent heartburn can decrease the damage done by stomach acid to the swallowing tube (esophagus) and help healing. | |||

| Add Erythromycin review I had worst stomach and chest pain ever.stay away from this poison. i was bitten by a spider right above my ankle on leg and let started turning purple and pus was coming out, took 250 mg 3 times a day and used hydrocortisone on area which was about 3 by 5 inches infected, after last dose and using the hydrocortisone sympton is nearly gone will continue to use hrdrocortisone and if needed i will see doctor if it doesnt clear up completely, i think i will have some scar tissue discoloration because i waited 2 months before telling doctor, but the medicine has worked really well so far, i can only recommend for problem like i had, it works Prescribed for tooth abscess.Might do its job; but, I will never know. I have been sick since pill 3 of 40. I want to vomit just to get this stuff out of my system. I called the DDS and pharmacy this morning, ( no recall as yet ) because I can not take any more runs to the bathroom, gas, chest pains and upset stomach. | Add Metoclopramide review Hard to remember to take it on time...cause you never know when you eat. And I had major side effects. I was tired all the time, muscle weakness, sleepy, and jittery. My brain was running 30 miles an hour. cant think straight. Be careful if you noticed any twitches, cause I couldn't stood still. made mough dry out. caused sleepiness I have been taking this medication for 19 years, I have never had any kind of problems.I have had extensive abdominal surgery 19 years ago, had to remove 40% of my pancreas...and 5 years later full blown diabeties....severe...have to be on an insulin pump....Its the best thing I could have ever done....And on top of that I was born with lipodystrophy very low fat cells in my body so there for I ... long time use. still get acid reflux. need drug for swallowing problems do to narrowing esophugus and operation from tear in it. drooling and can't sleep. watery stools which I did not have before | |||
