Flecainide vs Propafenone

FlecainideFlecainide PropafenonePropafenone
This medication is used to treat certain types of serious (possibly fatal) irregular heartbeat (such as persistent ventricular tachycardia and paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia). It is used to restore normal heart rhythm and maintain a regular, steady heartbeat. It is also used to prevent certain types of irregular heartbeat from returning (such as atrial fibrillation). Flecainide is known as an anti-arrhythmic drug. It works by blocking certain electrical signals in the heart that can cause an irregular heartbeat. Treating an irregular heartbeat can decrease the risk for blood clots, and this effect can reduce your risk of heart attack or stroke. This medication is used to treat certain types of serious (possibly fatal) irregular heartbeat (such as paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia and atrial fibrillation). Was not getting good relief until I started taking 3 per day, results are better, though I cannot miss a dose for even 15 minutes.

Just started this drug 2 months ago. Very happy with the results. Minimal side effects initially which are now gone. No Afib at all. Also take Losartin and Triamterene for blood pressure and Xarelto for blood clots since I cannot take aspirin.

All in all this works for me. My main problem with it is fatigue. I take it three times again and the one in the afternoon is the one that causes the fatigue. That seems to be the only side effect besides weight gain which I hate.

I am experiencing every side effect of this drug. It was prescribed for fast heart rate(195) but has made me fatigued, dizzy, severe headaches and low energy levels.
