I was in the hospital for 9 day with status, interupted with valium only to continue to return. Dr decided to try fosphenytoin, it required hospital admin approval due to the cost. Status seizures stopped immediately and I went home two days later. For me this is a miracle drug!

I was recently diagnosed with SP and Complex Partial Seizures. Started on 500 mg twice a day and after a week, went to 1000 mg twice a day.
