| Add Lipitor review my biceps muscle (both arms) have been dx tearing from the bone...even though the Dr doesn't agree w/me, but I believe that it is due to satin drug Lipitor and tricore combination that caused this problem When I started using Lipitor, I mentioned to my GP that my large muscles, especially my thighs, ached. My GP brushed off the complaint. By the time I stopped using Lipitor, all my major muscle groups were severly impacted. I was thinking I would be in a wheel chair in a few years. As soon as I stopped taking Lipitor, worked with a massage therapist and chiropractor, all the muscle problems went aw ... I have high Cholesterol, 260.I started taking 10mg in Dec. every other day. Will see what my readings are in August. High lipids I acquired severe muscles and cramps in my legs and ankles-I felt like I was crippled. Within days of stopping this med I was back to normal! After 8 days developed terrible indigestion, heartburn, headache, sore throat and mouth swelling. have used for 2 years. total cholesterol has dropped to 107,HDL is 30, LDL 61, TRIGLYCERIDES have gone from over 300 to 82.
