I am taking this 4mg, 6 day pack to clear up a sinus infection. The first night I had trouble sleeping and woke up with my face looking like I had a sunburn. The worst side-effect is the feeling of pain and fullness in my stomach. I am hungry but don't want to eat as that makes it worse. I will not take this drug again unless absolutely necessary.

I'm taking this drug along with an antibiotic for an infection in my tooth. My endo started a root canal but was unable to finish due to inflammation and infection. I am now pain free and am not swollen. I haven't had any side effects and am on Day 4 of a 6-day pack.

I was given this medication to take as i had mild case of 'Proctitis' (10mg a day) and WOW! within days my inflammation was gone, and my skin rashes dissapeared my complextion became unblemished, my face became more rounder a looked 21 (instead of 38) i felt confident i had huge amounts of energy with very little sleep i looked and felt better. I was only on them for a month afterwards i felt ok my rashes return a little but i kept my weight down by not eating (down from 69 kg to 67 kg now) I still take these now and again (10mg a day for up to 2 weeks) because the boost it gives me in unbelievable, without my Doctor knowing the only side effects were i could'nt sleep much, but thats a small price to pay i would take these forever i it was'nt for on thing... it reduces bone denisty.. thats why i only take about 10mg a day for 2 weeks maybe once every 3 months. My god this is my NZT......... Johnny B UK 5'10" 67 KG

My doctor prescribed MethyIPREDNISolone to correct a sinus problem that lingered for 30 days without an infection. I wish I consulted WebMD before taking the medication. I thought it would increase my immune system, apparently it does the opposite! Could have done without it and it side effects: nausea, sweats, rectal bleedings, tiredness, increase in appetite, moods swings and rage! I took my last tablet yesterday, from a serie of 21 tablets 4mg for 6 days. The side effects surpass the benefits! I would not recommended not even to my enemy!
