I am writing for my wife. Her Doctor took her off 15 MG Mirtazapine and now she gets an upset stomach and throws up. It has happened 5 times now and one time twice in one day. Also it doesn't seem to make a difference what kind of food she eats. I am wanting to know if this is a side effects of stopping the medicine? She had been off of it for a week before she started throwing up.

I'm going to be honest, if you take Mirtazapine, NO FOOD IS SAFE! It really works well as an antidepressant, and is good for my Anxiety also, but i have never loved food so much, even the stuff i used to hate :(

This pill was a brand new one for me...didn't look like my regular Trazedone. The pharmacy didn't even put the label on it...the one that states the color and the identifiers. I was stumped. Ihave been using this drug for about 1 yr. I take 100mg. at night for sleep.It has really helped me to sleep. My dr.says it is not habit forming! Ihave not had to increase my dosage. I am really satisfied with this product!!
