I experienced burning in my throat and upper respiratory tract while it cured the wheezing. Within 12 hours I was complaining to my internist about the pain from the inhaled substance, and demanded a script for Ventolin. Within 36 hours of the one dose, I had bad coughing fits and fevers. 2nd trip to internist determined I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. This drug made me sicker than the mild seasonal wheezing I was looking to relieve. Why this vile substance is still on mkt w/ all the complaints I have found on internet makes me very angry. There will be deaths, and there will be lawsuits.

*Asthma Sufferers Beware!* The product PROAIR HFA (albuterol sulfate) marketed by TEVA Respiratory LLC and IVAX Pharmaceuticals of IRELAND, is a DEFECTIVE product! It is sold with labeling and a dosage counter set at 200 metered inhalations. IT DOES NOT CONTAIN 200 DOSES. IT DOES NOT EVEN CONTAIN 100 DOSES. In Truth, IT IS COMPLETELY *EMPTY* AT just 75 DOSES. With a life-threateining debilitating disease such as asthma, I say we need a reliable product! I am sick of these shoddy manufacturers cheating people and playing with lives -and our money- as if they are meaningless. They have not offered a remedy for this. A phone number with no one at the other end.

ProAir is useless. The old cfc Proventil and Albuterol worked great, but about every 10 sprays or so the ProAir completely clogs up. I never had clogging with the old cfc inhalers. My great fear is that people are going to die because of clogged, useless ProAir hfc inhalers :(

It works, for having it 25 years. I'm 35 now and scared of the possible long term effects. Nobody doesn't know what it will do for long term. Am I going to need heart and lung transplant @ 50?

I have been very please so far with my inhaler. However, I do need to know if this inhaler contains alcohol?

I find that this product is one of the better new HFA. It still has a little more force to it then some of the other products. The cost is the only downside to this product.
