No one told me that my minor dry eyes would be exacerbated after having cataract surgery and having crystalens contacts put in place. Now, I am having chronic dry eye and have been using Restasis for 7 months. Today is my first day without using it and my eyes don't ache as much, I don't feel dizzy for the first time in a month. I think this Restasis is a marketing mix used by the drug company and I feel having listened to everybody's complaints that their statistics are not authentic. Hopefully, a newer and better product will be developed to help dry-eye sufferers!

I've been taking Restasis for past 8 years and it helps prevent blindness in my particular case. Restasis is the drug that allows me to be productive at work and in my personal life. I used OTC eye drops only twice a day, before I was using eye drops every 30 mn to an hour, not anymore. Although my tear plugs came out 2 years ago and were never replaced, i am able to function without them at 90% of my capacity in terms of my current vision status. All i want is to be able to get up in the morning and drive to work, this drug allows me to do that.
