I have been taking Valsartan,for yrs,because of HBP.I have Diabetes & have been retaining fluids. I am taking Lasix but am still retaining fluids.My PCP put me on Spirolactone& told me too cut out the Valsartan first if I didn't feel well.I am on vacation in another state & don't know if I'm doing the correct thing! Tom

Allergic reaction with one dose. Bright red, hot, itchy face. Required steroids to reverse the reaction.
