The mid rate for effectiveness is because I really do not know yet if it is effective. Even my Dr. Said we really don't know if it's working. I do really enjoy the benefit of no testing, and no dietary restrictions. I have had no problems related to the medication other than some occasional bruising. I take this medication for 2 blood clotting disorders. I have had open heart surgery in the past year.
