| This medication is used to treat sleep problems (insomnia). Eszopiclone belongs to a class of drugs called sedative-hypnotics. It acts on your brain to produce a calming effect. Use of this medication is usually limited to short treatment periods of 1 to 2 weeks or less. | Add Lunesta review Very dangerous drug. It was very effective at first. I took it for ~5-6 months. I developed tolerance withdrawal (ear ringing terrible sinus headaches) after ~5 months. Had severe withdrawal symptoms upon discontinuing. Should not be prescribed for extended use. Due to the fact that I have no stomach, I have absorption issues will all drugs. Ambien made me hallucinate horribly, seeing little people living under my bed. Scary. Lunesta 3 mgs usually helps me to fall asleep and I get 4-5 hours of decent sleep with this. I find the aftertaste not all that great, but can u really put a price on a good nights sleep? have been taking for 2 months good results wake often (due to dog needing out) but have no trouble returning to sleep bad taste small inconvenience price is big issue could be prohibitive | Add Zaleplon review The first two nights I took it I was awake all night. It seemed to make me feel revved up - not relaxed to sleep. I tried it for two more nights - finally getting 4 hrs of sleep which is not enough for me to function properly the next day I asked my doctor to return to me to my previous medication which had me sleeping through the night and feeling refreshed and awake the next morning. This drug did not work at all for me, and I was taking 20mg at night at least a half hour before going to bed. Didn't matter how long before bed I took it, it didn't work. Have tried MANY different drugs to try to sleep, to no avail. I'm hoping my doc will prescribe a different drug. | |||
