| This medication is used to treat sleep problems (insomnia). | Add Restoril review I wish my doctor would have prescribed this one to me a long time ago. I have tried all of the ones advertized on TV but none of them have worked. Thank goodness I kept pushing for something to help! After using Ambien (did nothing) and Seroquel (worked wonders but caused Low QT rhythyms in my heart???), I found Restorial 30 mg. works quite well. Although I must agree with other reviewers in that it doesn't put me out immediately, but when I am ready to go to sleep, I am ABLE to go to sleep. And that, my friends, is the greatest gift of all. YOu know how it is, up alllll night, finally watching the World News Now tv broadcast, which they advertise to insomniacs. Good Lord!!!! I need more sleep than that..... I have been taking restoril 30mgs, for months now. I moved to a new state with my kids and over the road trucker,husband who had to leave the next morning after we got to the new house. I was driving back to my home state to visit and had a terrible panic attack that required a trip to the er, all 3 kids with me. That was 12 years ago that i was prescribed this life changing drug. I am now an addict, i have never been to a mental health specialist ... I suffer from social anxiety-fear of public speaking especially to large groups. The anxiety and panic can be overwhelming! Xanax really works getting me thru it. So grateful to have & use only when needed. | |||
