| Sumatriptan is used to treat migraines. It helps to relieve headache, pain, and other migraine symptoms (including nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light/sound). Prompt treatment helps you return to your normal routine and may decrease your need for other pain medications. Sumatriptan belongs to a class of drugs known as triptans. It affects a certain natural substance (serotonin) that causes narrowing of blood vessels in the brain. It may also relieve pain by affecting certain nerves in the brain. Sumatriptan does not prevent future migraines or lessen how often you get migraine attacks. | Topiramate is used alone or with other medications to prevent and control seizures (epilepsy). Topamax is also used to prevent migraine headaches and decrease how often you get them. Topiramate will not treat a migraine headache once it occurs. | Add Imitrex review it works sometimes not all the time,it makes me feel funny. I have very vivid dreams. Sometimes I wake up hyper-ventilating and shaking. I also noticed irregular heartbeat, as if I were about to have a heart attack. If you don't need this drug, DO NOT TAKE IT. But if you have severe headaches (like me) then it may/may not be in your interest. (I'm 14 years old) This medication does the job! Your migraine will go away! BUT it has given me horrible side effect's, jaw pain, body ache's.
