| Levothyroxine is used to treat an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism). It replaces or provides more thyroid hormone, which is normally produced by the thyroid gland. | Add Levoxyl review Thyroid problem for 21 yrs. Levoxyl worked well. I was nervous about switching when Levoxyl was pulled from the market. Now taking Synthroid for one week, seems to be ok so far. Can't take Generic because it causes lot of complications and my system doesn't absorb it. Works better then the generic L-thyroxine | Add Synthroid review itching,joint pain, sleeping problems muscle weakness tiredness, Palpations, weakness, sometimes extreme leg weakness. If dosage isn't correct, loss of hair, dry skin. I just switched from generic brand to synthroid~it tastes just like a sugar pill as I can chew it and I am becoming more and more tired as each day goes by. works at times but lately Ia m tired and unable to sleep and having headaches Only been taking 4 dys.
