I have been taking this drug for six months and have had no side effects or related problems. It has stopped my reflux, dry cough and swallowing difficulties and I'm very satisfied.

I was satisfied and comfortable for a while and then developed excessive gas, belching and diarrhea, which got so bad I've quit taking it altogether.

Taking for ten years 1 pill per day also, possible Gerd. This works for me, but wonder how long can one take the medication safely.

My husband took this drug beginning December 2011. In May of this year, he became ill and test showed that he now has kidney failure due to taking this drug. He no longer takes it for his heartburn. It totally helped me....except when I stopped taking it after the 14 days....the heartburn came back. I kept taking it because it worked.
