| Famotidine is used to treat ulcers of the stomach or intestines. It may be used to prevent intestinal ulcers from returning after treatment. | Add Pepcid review This medication worked, but the skin problems developed were horrible. A rash on the thighs, back and chest and leg swelling twice the normal size. The skin is black and pebbly, and I had to be put on antibiotics to get rid of the secondary infection. Not a safe product as far as I am concerned. Eliminated symptoms and allowed me to sleep. One tablet in the morning and one at night. don't forget to drink a full glass of water after swallowing chewable tablet. May need additional tablet at bedtime if acid reflux or indigestion is active. No negative reactions. No bad side effects. Great product for me. | Add Ranitidine review I have been taking this medication for about 3 years and it helps me immensely. I take 150 mg twice daily, 30 minutes before meals. after several years I was having sencetive and painful nipples having bean on so manny drugs it had taken my nephrologist a long time to come to realize it was the ranadidine causing it and swiched medication all good now Have taken this for years, literally, since no insurance (come on Medicare) for the "magical purple pill"- it works very well and I start to suffer symptoms by second day of I don't get to the store for more- so it definitely relives symptoms. What amazes me is that it is the main ingredient in the expensive OTC (Prilosec, Zantac etc) and you can buy 200 tablets 150 mg at Walmart for abo ... i've been taking this drug for a week and so far i'm still having the burn in my throat. it doesn't seem to be helping. at first I thought it did, but after a few days, the burn came back. Also having heavyness in my chest. Ranitidine works, but for me there were too many negatives. I noticed I was more depressed, irritable and sleepy. | |||
