| Add Aciphex review ACIPHEX WORDED FOR ME WHEN OTC DRUGS DID NOT. I HAVE TAKEN IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS. BUT NOW I MUST DO WITHOUT AS THE COST EVEN WITH INSURANCE IS PRICING IT OUT OF MY REACH. I WAS GETTING 3 MONTHS AT A TIME FROM A MAIL ORDER COMPANY WHEN THE PRICE WENT UP I TRIED WALMART. LAST TIME IT WAS OVER $150 FOR 90 PILLS, THIS TIME IT WAS OVER $250 SO I TOLD THEM TO KEEP IT. I WILL HAVE TO DO THE BEST I CAN WITH THE OTC UNTIL THE PATENT RUNS OUT. I have tried the other common PPI's and OTC acid reducers which all fail to help my severe, persistent reflux. Aciphex works within minutes of use and has never failed to control my symptoms for at least 20 hours. My only problem is that my RX provider at work sometimes removes it from the "approved" list and it is too expensive for me to buy with pocket change. The medication works for me with little or no known side effects at the moment. I can certainly tell by about noon if I forgot to take the pill as reflux will return. I tried all the other major brands prior which gave me severe stomach cramping. Protonix has not done that at all. If others aren't working or you have cramping - I'd re ...
