I have a stent in my cartoid artery in my neck, was taking plavix, went back to dr for test, was told my stent shut down, no bring it back so i am only have blood flow to one side of my neck to my brain, he put me on comundin for life taking 2 5mg pills a day. would like to have advice from anyone on this?

I am relieved that there is a medicine that can control my own blood's emphasized clotting activity. It killed my father and grand father and left my aunt severely disabled after a stroke.

I took this drug for 7 years for Atrial Fibrillation. It did not affect my quality of life. You can eat greens, as long as you always eat greens, so they can set the dosage accordingly. I had multiple PE's after a rough winter of coughing and pain in my lungs. The only problem with the medication is that it has been difficult to keep it regulated. It is always too high or too low. I have had lumbar surgery since being on the warifin. I was off for a few weeks and now it's difficult getting back regulated again.
